Grading is based on wear, tear and damage compared to a new product
Panels / Wheels
Less than one unit of damage (size of a credit card). Prep and paint only if requested.
Electrical (Appearance-Sensitive)
Must function correctly with no visible wear.
Appearance Non-Sensitive / Batteries
Must function as intended with no damage to mounting points.
Panels / Wheels
Less than two units of damage (size of a credit card). May have small dents or require minor repairs.
Electrical (Appearance-Sensitive)
Must function correctly but may have slight visible wear or marks.
Appearance Non-Sensitive / Batteries
No Grade B in this category.
Panels / Wheels
More than two units of damage (size of a credit card). Some repairs required.
Electrical (Appearance-Sensitive)
Must function correctly but will show visible wear marks.
Appearance Non-Sensitive / Batteries
No Grade C in this category.
Shipping Policy
- We ship only during the business days. Monday - Friday, excluding national holidays.
- We offer Saturday delivery for additional charges.
- We ship parts on the next business days of payment received.
- The orders are delivered within the time frame estimated by the shipping company and usually it takes 1 to 5 days or 1 to 2 weeks for freight shipments.
Overnight and 2-day shipping are available for most small and medium sized packages for additional charges. Airfreight carriers reserve the right to extend delivery time by 24 hours when delivering to residential addresses.
12-Month Warranty on Tested Used Parts
Here at VS Breakers Ltd, all parts are thoroughly tested before dispatch and supplied with a 12-month warranty for added peace of mind.
As a VRAC accredited vehicle recycler, we are committed to supplying quality genuine used Volvo and Saab parts to customers throughout the UK and worldwide.
Warranty Coverage
Our warranty covers replacement parts that become defective during normal use within the stated warranty period.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Important Warranty Conditions
- All parts must be installed by a qualified technician.
- Parts must be correctly fitted and used for their intended purpose.
- Electrical components may require coding, programming, or adaptation before use.
- Diagnostic reports may be required for electrical warranty claims.
- Modified, dismantled, tampered, or incorrectly installed parts are not covered.
Engines & Gearboxes
Engines and gearboxes must be installed and serviced according to manufacturer recommendations.
Customers should ensure:
- Cambelts/chains are inspected before installation
- New oils, filters, and seals are fitted
- Cooling systems are checked prior to use
Failure caused by improper installation, overheating, oil starvation, or lack of maintenance is not covered.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Labour or fitting costs
- Recovery charges
- Loss of earnings
- Vehicle hire
- Consequential losses
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence
Warranty Claims
If you believe a part is faulty:
- Stop using the item immediately
- Contact us before removing or replacing the part
- Return the item for inspection
- Provide proof of purchase and any requested diagnostics
Replacement parts or refunds will only be issued after inspection and approval.
Trade Customers
Trade buyers are responsible for ensuring suitability before purchase. Warranty claims for trade customers are limited to the value of the supplied goods only.
