We regas R134a and R1234yf air conditioning systems on all makes and models at our Nottingham workshop. If your car was built before 2017, it almost certainly uses R134a. If your car is newer it will likely use the latest refrigerant that is less harmful to the planet but is more expensive.

How It Works
Our regas takes around 60 minutes at our Nottingham workshop. No mobile callouts — all work is carried out on-site.
System Check
We check current gas levels and pressure and inspect for leaks before starting.
Recover Gas
Remaining gas is safely recovered and recycled — never vented to atmosphere.
Vacuum & Dry
System is put under vacuum to remove moisture and air, protecting your compressor.
Recharge
The exact manufacturer-specified weight of gas is charged in. UV dye and oil added.
Regas Prices
All prices below are for R134a refrigerant. R1234yf will be an additional £20+VAT. UV dye, compressor oil top-up and a full pressure test included. All prices + VAT.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — please contact us to book a slot. We can normally offer immediate drop-in regas services.
Does my car use R134a?
If your vehicle was built before 2017 it almost certainly uses R134a. If your car is on that year or newer, please check the label near your AC service port under the bonnet. A typical vehicle A/C refrigerant label is a silver, yellow, or white sticker located under the bonnet, often near the radiator support, on the inner fender, or on the underside of the hood. It usually features a high-pressure warning icon and clearly lists the refrigerant type and the required system capacity.
How long does it take?
Most regas jobs take 45–60 minutes. Commercial vehicles and dual-zone systems may take slightly longer.
My AC isn't cold — is it just low on gas?
Usually yes, but it could also be a leak or compressor issue. We check the system before regassing.
What if a leak is found?
NO Charge!! We'll advise you on the repair before proceeding. Our state of the art equipment creates an air tight vacuum that must hold its set point for at least 5 minutes. This method is the best way for detecting system leaks. If your car passes this test we will proceed to Regas/Charge the AC system. UV dye is added to all regas services to help trace future leaks.
